The ﬂow passage has a semi-circular cross-section, and its axis makes an angle of inclination equal to y with respect to the horizontal plane. Thecurved surface of the flow passage is at a constant temperature T5, and the flat part of the ﬂow passage surface is adiabatic. An incompressible, constant-property ﬂuid ﬂows through the ﬂow passage. Using polar cylindrical coordinates, write the complete momentum and energy conservation equations, along with boundary conditions representing the surface of the flow channel. Hint: Start from the equations in Appendices B and C.
